Goran has returned by this time, and takes note of the scarf.  He takes a look at it, admiring the workmanship.  "This is quite well done."

In reply to Goran the Marked (msg # 769):

The phrasing is the type that incurrs a response of indebtedness to anyone with a fey code of honor. It is the equivalent of eating their food. Not bad, just powerful anf independent.

Re: Temple Hill
Goran hands the scarf back and suggests "You should make sure it's a gift and not something more binding.  I am no expert on these things, but the creatures of faerie often bestow gifts on humans with a different context than what we would assume."  He then looks over at the mature witch and says "No offense intended, I just think it's best to clarify to make sure we all understand the proper context for these things.  We do not want anyone to walk away offended."

OOC  The previous driver for Goran did not give him any official social skills.  I rolled the "best available" to try for the best delivery possible.

"Really? I don't know much about the Faerie, but these ladies are not Faerie anyway. I am sure they would be honest about something such as this, since I am asking openly what they want in return for this."

Mel has some social skills, but no familiarity with fey, and would not naturally think about it due to the fact that he is not dealing with fey.

Goran responds "I did not take offense Ma'am, and I hope you did not either.  Maybe it's not my place to comment.  However, when I was in Shevnia, some of the people in my village had dealings with the Fey.  The way you phrased your comment reminded me of some of their less pleasant experiences.  I only intended to clarify the situation.  Most of us are not well versed in the different culture of the Fey, and so misunderstandings are easy to come by.  As a man of faith, I prefer to assume the best."

Stenet seems slightly relieved at the sounds of leavetaking and begins to gather up his pack.

He gives the ladies a nod as they head out.

Goran will be sure to bless the witches, and tells them he will be back for a visit, before leaving with the group.

OOC Wanted to do more, but I missed a good part of yesterday with work and family etc, and the story has progressed.  That's a good thing.  Life happens.  :)

Melchizadek took the scarf of warmth,

Was it Stenet who took the Tassel +1 pussiance  vs undead

I do not even know who took the Embroidered scroll of Enchanting Forest. Goran?

Re: Temple Hill
OOC:  By my reading of things, Hograth traded the best of the feathers for the Tassle (which is probably a good swap), so he's probably got it.  I have no idea who picked up the Enchanted Forest scroll, but it wouldn't have been Stenet.  All the talk of favors and owing was starting to sour him on these ladies, even if they are, so far, good not-Evil Mages... they are still Mages.  Which is just a single small, tiny, infinitesimal step away from Evil Mages, and Stenet has sworn a Holy Vow to kill Evil Mages.

Re: Temple Hill
OOC  Goran's history was in the hills of Shevnia, but he's much more city folk than outdoorsman.  I don't think he would know what to do with something like that.  Someone else is probably a better choice.  He only would take it if no one else wanted it.  And he doesn't even know what it does, to be honest.

If Hograth is insistent, Stenet will take it, but he seems a little ill at ease with the gifts of the "Good" witches.

Hograth is happy to give the scroll to Urrun. As far as he is concerned, these items were given in trade for the feathers. A fair exchange of goods. He prepare to depart, thanking the ladies for their assistance in defeating a demon.
