Re: Temple Hill

In reply to Hograth Podkarmen (msg # 350):

Y0u were tasked with finding how the abandoned temple of atlas was invaded, and in the course of clearing the subtunnels used by the cult you found another cult at the temple of Flora/Janus.  There were half a dozen or so ordainary cultists, some naked, who had fled, and you can search for those, partly by checking in with the nearby occupied temples, but you will need to check theology and assorted hidden lore to determine if any of the other temples have been corrupted. Any temples abandoned since plague years are fair game. The Hadereum does run the beauracracy in town, but they do not have direct oversite into the worship of all of the pantheon specific faiths.

Ah, if we were only tasked with the temple of Atlas, then we have done what we were tasked to do and should head back to report and get further orders...

Re: Temple Hill

OOC  Agreed.  Although Goran is built like a very narrow minded inquisitor, so he's all for cleansing anyone he doesn't approve of.  This particular assignment fits well with his natural inclinations.

I just wish the original author had given him something of a Spanish flair...  No one would have expected that.

"Well, we have checked out the Temple we were assigned to, and an additional temple that was corrupted. We should now investigate the gates, and then report back to the Haderaum. Who is willing to come with me through each gate to investigate, and who wants to stay here to guard and control the gates?"

Just an order or the threat of back to the Hadereum... Playing him as i think he'd see gates as a simpler, lower  tech sort of being.

In reply to Urrun (msg # 365):

"Well, you can join us and Mel can stay guard until they get here, and join us when they do. As far as I see, there is just through the gate and the Haderaum. Let me know which one."

He uses the keys to set up the gates for Autumn.

"Lets try this one first. We can do the extremes of Summer and Winter after we get some idea of how long we will be, so we can dress accordingly. Any further suggestions?"

Re: Temple Hill

Goran follows the conversation.  As it proceeds, he lowers his voice slightly to talk in a softer tone.  This often worked up in the hills, where he was from, when he was talking with the simple folk there.  "Urrun, I would like you to come.  We could use your strength if we run into any heathens that need to be cleansed."

OOC - Not trying to hold up the game, just think this less educated creature would not trust magic gates much.

"Hograth, let me know if I'm overstepping, but I say we," he points his thumb at himself, Horgrath, and Goran, "pop through, give the immediate area a look around and pop back.  Let Melchizizaza...  sorry still haven't gotten your name straight, let him talk Urrun past this crisis of faith.  By the time the Hades guards get here we should have an idea of what we're about over there, and your tracker and, uh, Mel can join us.  Sound about right?"
