Hograth seems to be made of the same stuff as this mountsin or hill, and be as  fine walking on it as a mountain goat.

Goran, meanwhile tumbles downward, and finds himself falling without touching the ground, as if gravity were diagonal here!

Maje a DX roll and a ST roll to grab a tree and hold on before you slam into one.

Re: Temple Hill

Goran tumbles down, arms akimbo and gear flying around.  His morning star flies out of his grasp and wraps around a sapling.  His helmet flies off and tumbles down the hill.  It's quite the sight to behold, and really comical to watch from an objective perspective.

In an attempt to save himself, Goran reaches out for a small sapling, and touches it with his fingers.  Unfortunately, it's just out of reach, and he can't grab it before he is already past it.

OOC  Just failed the DX roll.

[Private to GM:  Ouch.  This is gonna hurt.  With a DX of 12, he misses by 1.
14:12, Today: Secret Roll: Goran the Marked rolled 12 using 3d6.  ST to hold on.

While Hograth and Urrun scramble to catch Gorran, Stenet takes a hard look around, scratches his head, and tries to figure out what going on here.

OOC:  20:51, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 14 using 3d6.  Stenet trying to figure out what is at play here.

Unless there is a hefty bonus, Stenet probably has no clue.

Urrun, make another ST check to avoid being pulled along with Goran; younare supporting his body weight with one hand.

OOC  Well, for Goran the obvious answer is "FALL!".  I suspect you mean something deeper than that, and i am less versed on the ancient and less mainstream religions.

Re: Temple Hill

There Goran sits, on his butt, at the feet of Urrun.  His eyes are a bit wide in reaction to what happened, and his breathing is fast and a bit ragged from the sudden burst of energy he had experienced.  Gently he pulls his arm out of Urrun's hand to feel around on his body, as he also examines himself and his belongings.  After a good 10 seconds of composing himself, He scrambles to his feet, and mumbles "Thanks" to Urrun, in a sort of embarassed or ashamed fashion.  Then he looks at Hograth and says, in the same voice "I'll need a short pause to gather up my belongings.  That rock turned under my foot without warning and I had no chance to react."

OOC Goran will collect all the items he lost during the fall, which might mean a few minutes of scrambling around on the hillside.

Stenet just keeps a wary eye out.  If up and down can become sidewise, this place could get very dangerous quick.

And "down" is not sideways, but on a diagonal parallel to the slope of the hill.

OOC  I think Goran or his driver most certainly missd something, although I gather we are in the world of Greyhawk now.  Never played it in D&D but I understand it is well loved.

"Boss," he hollers at Hograth, "we ain't getting anywhere fast.  I don't think this is a 'real' place.  I get the feeling it's a riddle or something.  Maybe someone should climb a tree and try to get a look around?"
