Goran takes their action as a non-verbal sign that they want to be quiet, which insinuates the enemy is close.  He unties himself, with intent to ready his morningstar and shield again immediately after.

OOC  Goran has a couple spells he is prepared to cast, depending on the seriousness of the target.  Don't want to get too far ahead though.

Stenet queitly begins to gather up the rope, untying people who don't immediately untie themselves, coils into his backpack.  He readies axe and shield, and carries the pack in his sheidl hand for now.

Hograth checks his crossbow is cocked and loaded with a silver bolt, unties himself, and readies his crossbow, as quietly as possible, moving back to the ladies.

A figure steps through the brush, a heavily scaled, muscular male with backswept horns. Where er he steps, the leaves wither. Shadowy flames seem to exude from him.

Urrun loads his sling with a Crushing lead bullet  and swings it up, aiming for this things head (between the eyes)

Goran steps forward and bursts his morningstar into flames, taking a position next to the figure to guard it.

Stenet drops his backpack to the ground, takes a few steps towards the demon, but casts his eyes around to make sure they aren't being surrounded.

Transfixed by the silvered bolt, it stares blankly for a second, ichor spilling over its lips.
"Not him, but another. Curse you!"

He collapses and his remains begin to dissolve

Goran carefully sets down his backpack so as not to set it aflame, and then makes a few gestures to himself to invoke Hors.  Then takes up a position guarding the place where the demon came from, waiting for 'another' to arrive.

In reply to Goran the Marked (msg # 547):

Hograth begins the long process of re-cocking his crossbow.

"Maybe we can get more co-operation from the next one..." he quips as the creature dissolves.

"Apparently, silver works well. I will need some more of those bolts."

If he has time once the crossbow is re-cocked, he will retrieve his silver bolt.

Urrun goes the the heap of dust and uses a stick to find his bullet, and Hograth's bolt if it's there. He slides/rolls them out onto clean gound and looks them over carefully (smell, look but not touch).

Dead demon is rancid, not like carrion, more like vomit and overburnt cooking oil, with an unpleasant sweetness.

The lead bullet, while misshapen  (-1 to acc) is intact, the bolt...needs a roll from Hograth- 15 or better and it is useless as silver, 12 or better and it is totally useless as a bolt (roll a 12-14 and the head is retrievable)
Subtract holiness/holy might from the roll.
