Re: Temple Hill

Goran will look for whatever else might be of value then.

It's probably safe to assume at least some of the body parts are valuable.  If nothing else, he will bring back feathers.

OOC Goran rested as well, unsure how much time he got to recover fatigue.  He decided to get up and help when people started searching in earnest.

Once festhers are gahered (about 5 minutes) you head back to the cottage,  where resting happens a little easier.

Hograth was glad to return to the hut, though watching Melchizadek trying to chat up the younger one caused him to roll his eyes.

Those gathering feathers make a dungeon butcher default roll (IQ/A) to determine if you acquired  quality feathers, or merely demon scented pillow stuffing.

Goran did the best he could.

[Private to GM: Goran has an IQ of 14, so the standard IQ-4 default should land him a success...?
13:44, Today: Secret Roll: Goran the Marked rolled 10 using 3d6.  Goran IQ/A Dungeon Butcher default.

OOC:  18:52, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 9 using 3d6.  Default "dungeon butcher", 7 (IQ/A default is -5).

Though if allowed, Stenet has Hidden Lore (Demons) at 12.

A success on demon physiology would count, a crit on demon lore would succeed at finding value.

Goran has the goods... and the witches are interested.

Pillowe stuffing with this might bring unpleasant dreams.

Re: Temple Hill

As they sit around and watch Melchizadek make a fool of himself, Goran absently pulls out the feathers he had carefully packed away.  They needed to pass some time anyway, because he didn't show any signs of wanting to leave.  To make things a bit less awkward, Goran asks "Tell me about these things.  What are they worth?  How would you potentially use them?  Would they be of benefit to any of us?"

Re: Temple Hill

In reply to Goran the Marked (msg # 720):

"Anything of demonic origin is useful and valuable to demonologists,  but the main use is in manufacturing enchanted items capable of controlling the element of air, or for bird magic.  Making a fan that damages entities made of smoke or air would be the primary use, and what we would intend to use it for. Enough feathers to make a fan is worth roughly a dozen potions of paut, or round about $1500. You have enough good feathers for 2 fansd. The rest of the feathers are worth around a silver a pound... maybe more to the wrong sort of people."
