After a short prayer to a goddess of knowledge he remembered from childhood, Mancini walked over to Ardenas and grabbed the chalk from him.

As if he was not fully control of his being, Mancini began to draw the shape of the pentagram, instructing the Kali followers where to place the items so they would be most helpful to the summoning. After he finished, he instructed the group where to stand and asked Norman to keep watch for them, as he would not be able to do anything else while attempting the summoning.

With everything in place, Mancini began the summoning.

12:50, Today: Mancini rolled 8 using 3d6.  Ritual Magic (IQVH att-2 +6 prep bonus)= 15-2+6=19.

(Ooc: Mancini plans on using 12 fp and burning 8 hp as fp for a total of 20 fp in contribution to the Great Kalima summoning.)

The priest and his three Thuggee devotees are able to contribute 9 FP between them. Any non spellcaster participating can lend 1 FP, any spellcaster can lend up to 2.  Between Norman and the cultists,  you have  10 FP, plus whatever Aoife and Ardenas (up to 2 each) and Oly (up to 1) give, with a comfortable 15 out of 20 FP com8ng from the circle.

Grimaldi, being a loner, and wanting to reserve his strength for security purposes, hangs back, looking on, leaning against a wall, arms folded.

The flame forms an orangy red aura around a four armed Silhouette  that gradually begins to solidify into a familiar three eyed form.
Hair of flame, flesh of obsidian. Coral at her wrists and ankles, wreaths of marigolds around her throat, a spear poised at the ready.

Molaram and the cultists fling themselves to the ground, their arms outstretched toward her "KALI-MA! You have answered our prayers! Lay waste upon our enemies, and guide us to the good death!"

Grimaldi raises from a crouch, having heard the name spoken. He was a bit relieved, fearing someone or something else may have been summoned. Still, this was his first encounter with Kalima. Although he heard heard good things spoken of her, he was wary of the group.

He sighs with relief and slides back into the room ...

Ardenas falls to his knees and shouts along with Molaram and his people.  "Kalima!  You have returned!"

Mancini, spent from performing the summoning and in shock that it worked, bows politely before the minor god. "It is nice to see you on this side of the plane, Kalima."

He waits for a second before continuing. "We have a lead on the demon shop. We would be grateful for any assistance you can lend."
