Kalima stumbles out of the back room, her eys red and watery.

The shopkeeper,  hearing Jareth and Mario, sighs and slips on a bracelet made of tiny shields

In reply to Kalima (msg # 668):

"As I said to the other gentleman,  management frowns on us stocking that, but I could offer you some Benadryl if you want... we can negotiate a price to your satisfaction, I am sure."

There is a faint rumble from the back room, and a smell of hot metal, scorched oil, and rotten milk.

Having caught on that the shopkeeper is now wearing a new bracelet, and fearing it meant something bad for the group, Mancini  lowers his voice so that only Jareth can hear.

"The shopkeeper has some new jewelry. Maybe your ferret needs to take a closer look."

Meanwhile, Mancini goes and inquires about the Benydrl.

In reply to Mancini (msg # 673):

"The potion is otherworldly, and relieves itching, swelling, and anaphalaxis, offering relief from allergic symptoms, but may cause drowsiness. Do not operate heavy mill machinery or clockworks."

Mancini sees the value of such an item, as being roughly the value of a healing potion, and ideal as something to make use of when entering an area with itching smoke.

Norman successfully creeps behind him.

Meanwhile something slams open the back door, and the metallic, musky and sour scent becomes stronger.  Even with her bloodshot, watery eyes and runny nose, Kalima starts sniffing at it purposefully, and readies her spear.

In reply to Jareth Mooncalled (msg # 678):

A massively built monstrous demon with horns and bat wings, its body covered with scales and spines glares malevolently at you. It carries a viciously spiked and hooked dueling bill.

As it spots Kalima, It cries out in a deep penetrating voice

"Here I come to pass through, and the Bitch is here waiting! Die you miserable celestial scum! Feel my blade in your heart!"

In reply to Mancini (msg # 680):

"That depends. I could sell it to you for four silver, or I could sell it to you for 1 copper piece if you would slip this folded piece of paper into the town crier's bundle, or you could have it for free if you slap a child for no reason. Most of management's other assistants cannot due such a thing to an innocent. You look like the sort that would pay cash, so 4 silvers it is."

Mancini is offended by the shopkeeper's implication, but he instantly sets the feelings aside.

"Here is the coin you requested", handing over the four silvers. Mancini immediately hands the medication to Kalima.

"It will help with whatever happened when you chased that stocker demon."

the celestial takes the bottle with one hand, opens it with another, and braces her spear against the charging demon with the other two.

Oly sees an interesting variety of things under the counter, including what seems to be a pair of metal rods with a wooden handle and a metal loop.  next to that is a locked box, chained down three times over, several scrolls, and a writing kit with a quill and a small silver knife.  several stacks of  identical closely written papers are in a pile.  You notice another pile of woodcut printed flyers with marked with a red blood drop in a white circle.

Mario, making an immediate threat assessment, swivels on his good foot to bring his bow to bear on the demon threatening Kalima.  His right hand brushes the fletching of his silvered arrows and brings one to the bow, drawing even as it settles on his left thumb and releasing as soon as he reaches full draw.

Re: Hunting for a specialty shop

Mancini begins pleading with the Divine good and neutral beings on behalf of his group to give him the strength to dispel the demon. He knows how capricious many of the divine beings tend to be, and finding one may take time. Yet, if the rest of the group can weaken the demon some, then one of the celestials might deign to grant his request....

20:14, Today: Mancini rolled 7 using 3d6.  Will 15, to perform exorcism Minute 1.
