At 80 pounds, Sparky can only drag one out. How ever he will do that and relay the need for a hammer and a spike.

Kazimir nearby, has his children fetch what is needed. The door is opened, and the rat is piled with the other, slain earlier.
"Hot brown and rat pies, for a month 'o sundays!"
He exclaims.

Sparky makes a face ... Yuck!

"Sparky, as small as you are, I'd have guessed ya for a background in hunger, but if the idea of eating rat makes you ill, I guess I'm wrong.  Been many a day when I'd have welcomed even a haunch off one of these little ones to toast over an unwatched brazier."

Been hungry a lot ... but also seen what them rats eat... I do have standards.

"I guess we've been fortunate. Sometimes when work is slow, I do a day's fishing, and bring some home for ma to cook. We've never had to go hungry around here, or had to even think about eating Boris. Why, he's like one of the family."

"Yes, you even drink with him. Don't lie! I've caught you giving him beer!"

Sparky dumps the big rat on the side of te street across from the inn and then goes back over and in to the bar area.

Adolus has the sun bright brick in hand, but not his knife, which clatters to the ground...

I put hp in the lower part of porter's biography. We can track those things there.

Aldous puts his shoe on the knife to keep it from wandering off (aided by four-legged scoundrels) and looks around for someone to field the brick.

"Who wants this?  Or should I just drop it in the middle again, now that it's uncovered?"

The siblings move toward the door, each armed with boarding axe, and knife respectively, should there be a sally of rats.
"That's a good idea. Set it on the higher stairs for now, to cast light in the immediate area and take it with you, as you move throughout the cellar."

I dont have a free hand to hold the glowing brick.  I say we make the effort to hang it but only if we can manage it without said person getting badly bit, or we just drop it in a clear spot on the floor.

Well if one of the Kids would come down and pound a nail with their boarding axe, it would help a lot!

Sven takes the brick, twine, and hook. Knotting the twine around the brick, he supplies a wooden mallet from the kitchen, and handful of nails.

He passes it along with a barstool given to him by his sister.

Sparky falls prone, but takes no damage. A swarm of rats approach...

Seeing the danger Porter moves to head off the rat swarm, buying the mage some time to at least get up on the stool.
