Once the walkers have been hauled up and out, and the one skull prepared (an process which Aldous watches with fascination), Aldous relights his lantern and returns to the cellar for this round of sweeping and shoveling.

Thorg goes with Aldous, somewhat reluctantly as he is getting tired of fighting Rats and such, but he can't let Aldous go alone.

Scrounging lets you find an item you are hunting for... somewhere. Searching a specific area is Search skill, which lets you find hideyholes where stashables could be found if present. You might scrounge the stable ard for an article (tools, leathergoods of dubious quality, bas iui s, rope, unattended food, a forgotten weapon) but sifting through ratshit gor coin doesnt use that skill

Hetilda appears shortly, grimacing a bit, and wrinkling her nose at the musty, dampness.

Sven, looking at his sister replies: "You'll see."
Sven then looks at his mother, and says:

She punches her brother, in the shoulder.

She says, showing her mom the bauble, and the money box, they found.

Aine just watches this, not really understand the language but getting an idea from what is cast.

Aldous pauses as Hetilda casts.  "Some vision magic?  I can see all the rat shit I need to."  He goes back to sweeping.

"Ma can find hidden caches and stashes, and such with her spells. There's not much we can keep hidden between her and Dad, lemme tell you.." The burly youth, chuckles.

Hetty points to where she detects, and gets a better vantage point, looking about.
