Fisher blinks a few times while saying nothing as it seems he has trouble following the small leprechauns logic.  Then as an alternative he suggests dispassionately, ”Maybe the rats were huddled up together in there.  You know, to stay warm.”

The wall with the fireplace abuts on the baker's shop. This fireplace must share a flue with both the baker's oven, and the kitchen fireplace above.

which rooms? there is a foor on the other side of the inverse "L" from here (the hearth is at the tip of the long part of the L. a door is at the tip of theshort part of the L, the barrels are along the short bar
