"Oh, another mage! Perhaps we can share spells at some point! I did not see you do any...I know how to create and shape fire, but that is about all. I am interested in spells to resist Fire, and Cold, and maybe heat things up, like boiling water. I know some water spells too."

Porter's player got called in as essential., may not show  any time soon.

How much is the split? He may grab an upgrade of a piece of gear.

I am unable to do those things at the moment and have no spells of water at all... one or two of those could be of interest. I am sure I can find a spell of interest to you.

[Private to GM: GM - Can I afford a spell with $100 clams? say resist fire?]

Any spell exchange requires three rolls: a successful casting roll, a successful  teachi g roll and a thaumatology roll from the student.  Base price is $20 per fp listed, more than 3, you pay the day's  wages. Keep in mind Spielgud the mage is about a 400pt+ character, at $250 a day

While Sparky was out, Aldous slipped away as well, to return with the same leathers he had, and a scowl.

"Five pennies.  Five stinkin' pennies.  Offered ta' lemme trade m' jacket, but then m'arms 'd be bare.
