Sven follows his Mother's directions, and drives the oxcart through a number of  alleyways before reaching a basement entrance to an old sto e building. After k ovki g, there is an uncomfortable pause.
Right before Sven knocks again, there is a rattle of keys, and the door is pulled
open  by a bald hunched figure in black.

The hunchback closes and locks the door, and returns a few minutes later, accompanied by a cadaverous looking bearded man in voluminous robes.

"Let me see your wares. These were walking how recently? The condition is poor, I may not be able to gather much from this... an intact one, brought in chains with a hood, or in a barrel that I would pay dearly for."

"I'm not sure either. But those undead we ran into didn't seem particularly magical, but animated by whatever that plague was. Maybe that's why these bookworms, wanna study 'em so badly. Corpses are common enough, and raising undead is fairly simple, for the money they're offerin'!"
