Re: Back in Town

Yeah, actually, I thought the insinuation was the castle too.  Did not recognize they were meant to be 2 separate observations, so to speak.

But then again, Balir is just a dwarf, he's much happier in the stonework anyway.

Re: Back in Town

Narrator:
yes. There was an enourmous beast running about the countryside and terrorizing the peasantry. y'all broke into a locked and abandoned castle you saw in the distance from the field with giant footprints and charred haystacks.

Ah for the want of a tracker...

Jednesa has all the meat necessary... what she lacks is 'discretion' and 'being normal size'.  So there's probably more than enough room for a regular sized meat thug to boop things on the head and make some money.

Hah!  So you led them away from the deadly beast into the empty keep?  Excellent play, I commend ya!

Doesn't seem so empty ... and there was some thought that the beast might be involved with the keep ... but we can drop everything and chase the slorn or whatever it is..

Works for me.  Besides, you seem like someone who can keep my character in line, which he obviously needs.

That whole ‘open classroom’ thing didn’t work on him.

Christine is a bit of a loose cannon herself. Her way of keeping destructive folk in line is to point them to the bad guys and give artillery support...probably why she gets on well with Jednessa!

Aegis can be in or out.  He's plenty happy with his current activities, but I'm willing to bet a decent archer, even with his unsavory qualities, would be welcome...

With jednesa and Masugatan accompanying Christine, Aegis should back up Rheanna and Dne.

I will ask if there any other takers,

Re: Back in Town

If only we could get Gareth.  Aegis would have no issue with his particular view on things, as long as things didn't get creepier than he himself is.  That allows for a lot of license...
