Something had drawn Stenet to the Hadereum, maybe there was some light demon slaying to do, or undead that needed redeading?

He didn't know, but with the Guild seemingly out of jobs at the moment, a thirsty slayer is a slayer looking for work.

This line of work also interested Melchizedek, though he did not agree will all of the ideas of the Haderum

He followed along as Stenet had similar inclinations about demons as himself and work was always better than being lethargic.

A number of purple clad priests are bustling about.  One of them notices you, and pauses. He is familiar to Melchizadek from when he first came to the city
"Melchizadek! What supplicants have you brought with you?"

"Things are getting out of hand. We just got reports from the priests of Vejovis that a few of our agents had chased a demon through the temple hill undercroft into their temple from the temple of Janus and Flora. That demon was dispatched, and the temple of Vejovis exorcised, but apparently there was still much trouble in the other temple; it was a fertility cult, and approved in Pantheon, much like the worship of Helios, Eos, and Priapys, as are found on the hill."

"Janus and Flora eh?  Well, point the way, well make sure the demons are cleared out.  Standard bounty on demons right?"

In reply to Stenet Fjall (msg # 8):

"Perhaps it might be prudent to start by talking to these agents. I presume they are back on the job?"

Yes, let us find them, it sounds as if the temple was desecrated.

"They are on the far side of the main hill. I believe these four vials of alchemical fire would be appreciated there, our agents have some preoccupation with burning, rather than interring the dead."

"If you do encounter the remains of demons, it would be preferred that you deliver them unto us, lest they be used for diabolical purposes, such as scribing works of demonology  or using them for vile potions or in summoning rituals."

"Oh, aye.  That or thoroughly destroy the remains if carting them back is infeasible."

This is an exceptable, pantheon specific method of summon spirit, it is mentioned in the Odyssey.
 Vejovians have a tradition of goat sacrifice, and given their penchant for social justice, they are as good aligned as Helios worshippers,  although perhaps not as musical.
This is the way.
