Emma does not take long to don her Jacket and skirt...

She makes a few whispers when done, creating a small light that begins moving towards the footsteps.

Hearing the roar spurs Jednesa to respond, she turns towards the roar, crouches, and roars right back!

OOC:  17:53, Today: Jednesa rolled 11 using 3d6.  Intimidation 8.  MoF -3.

If her Size Modifier +2, Hideousness +2, or Monsterousness +3 factor in, adjust accordingly.

Re: Seekers of the Flame

McNealy will launch his vial at the location of the cough he is facing.

[Private to GM: No time like now to figure out the rules.  ACC on the staff/sling is 1, so the aim bonus should be +3 for 3 rounds of aiming.  He was focused on the area where the noise was coming from so that seems like a reasonable "pop-up" attack.  Think that's the rule here.

15:56, Today: Secret Roll: McNealy rolled 10 using 3d6.  McNealy Staff/Sling 13, +3 aim, -range, -vial.

Remember, this is Alchemist's fire.  Not sure what the rules are for the vial to break, or do we just assume it does since the whole reason for grenade bottles is this.

I seem to recall that vials lobbed this way are at -5 to hit?  Is that accurate?  Is there a way for a specialist to buy this off with a perk or something?  Seems pretty limiting for this specific character build.

Re: Seekers of the Flame

While Elaina is still getting armored up, Evelina takes a deep breath and lets out a roar very much like the ones coming from outside camp.  At the same time, she snaps her whip handle, sending a wave along the lash that culminates in a loud "Pop!".

[Private to GM: 18:38, Today: Evelina Grattan rolled 10 using 3d6.  Mimicry (Animal Sounds) (12) to answer the coughing roar.
Not a "crack" attack as on B409-410, just a noisemaker.

Re: Seekers of the Flame

McNealy really likes the color of the fire, and finds himself admiring it for a split second, before reaching for something in his pouch.

[Private to GM: Rolled to resist admiring the fire.  I think it's right at will so he'll catch himself before wasting time.
20:18, Today: Secret Roll: McNealy rolled 14 using 3d6.  Fire admiration.

Load up a lead bullet in his staff sling.  Then, decision.  If Jednessa has one creature in hand, considering it's already on fire, he'll aim and fire at another one.  He'll just make the number before range.  That means he will probably just miss, depending on the SM of the creatures.
20:20, Today: Secret Roll: McNealy rolled 14 using 3d6.  McNealy Staff/Sling 13, +1 aim, -range.

"Does that really have three heads?  I've never seen such a thing!"

Evelina steps toward the burning creature, into the reach of her five yard whip, and launches a cracking lash.

[Private to GM: 17:09, Today: Evelina Grattan rolled 9 using 3d6.  Whip (13 - 4 for crack lash -- unknown penalty for hard to see creature).
17:15, Today: Evelina Grattan rolled 5 using 1d6+1.  Damage (1d-1 +2 for crack, armor divisor 0.5 => armor value is doubled).

Re: Seekers of the Flame

The older sister, having readied her own whip as Elaina joined the group, smiles a little.  "Then let's catch us a whatever this is, Holy Sister."

Looking for any remaining hint of flame or smoke, or dust or mud the creature might have picked up as it tried to roll the fire out, she takes a step toward the beast and lashes again, with a sidearm motion, but the lash merely whirs through the air.

[Private to GM: 19:00, Today: Evelina Grattan rolled 13 using 3d6.  Whip (13 - 4 to entangle -- unknown penalty for visibility).]
