"Good. I was worried you were after my job for a minute...but I use crossbow and staff. Stealth is always useful."

After a loud belch, Aegis stands up.  He's a little wobbly due to his inebriated state, but flatly states "Aegis, bowman" before sitting back down heavily.  His unsteady feet are balanced out by how quickly the mug of ale is back in his hand.

"So we have myself, a scout, Dilandua, a spearwoman, Dne, our magical protection, and Aegis, our swordsman. We are out to deal with a bunch of mages in multi-coloured coats escorted by brutes in red. Madeline, do we have any idea of numbers? Should we get a healer, or is that superfluous?"

[OOC: This sounds like a job for Gareth too! Seedy, questionable morality, dealing with mages who like to tell him what to do...but no, all my mages are busy, so I will send in the thief!]

“What the sparrow calls murder, the owl calls justice.  While the eagle calls it dinner.”

Dne suddenly stops speaking, as though concerned he is giving away too much free profundity.

Oof

Waiting on the other group to pick their healer, the other comes to you to work with you. One is a social justice cleric that dislikes elitist organizations, the other is an unlicensed alchemist.

OOC I have played with alchemists and herbologists before, but it's almost a black box unto itself.  I might consider one down the road sometime.  Might even consider the one you wrote up if they go with the other group.

A black robed woman with a staff and a goat's head amulet descends the stairs. Muttering about frogs.

She is too concerned about the rights of serfs and the improperly indentured to be concerned with your choice in media.

Aegis, if you want Mcnealy, pm me.
