Aegis warily keeps a bit of range between him and the troll, but makes no aggressive moves. He respects the creature and it's fighting prowess, but it's also his job to protect the rest of the group too. He doesn't care whether the thing lives or dies. His only agenda is to do his job, and do it well. As such, he waits in the uneasy truce, until the rest of the group decides how to proceed.
[Private to GM: Aegis has bloodlust and bad temper, but the thing has not actually hit him or pissed him off. Thus, Aegis is going woth the pirate's code of honor, and sense of duty to the adventuring group.]
