Reana was able to engage a spring blade trap, and open thr lock. The chest is full of a mix of copper and silver coins, heavier on the copper. There are about a pound and a half all together.

Aegis notes the work, nods in support, and adds "De Box Prolly wort geld."

Dne descends an imaginary set of stairs back to the ground.  Up there, a breeze had been messing with him.

The chest, while probably worth around $500, maybe more with the key, weighs around thirty pounds, and is secured by a heavy chain to the base of the bridge.

[Private to GM: Perception roll 6 under. She has taken the padlock separately. Purse was empty, should be full now, only 1.5 lbs of coins as per message #444, so should fit in purse, which holds 3 lbs?]

The lock is not a padlock, it is integral to the chest.

There is a symbol etched inside the chest, very similar to the one on the Troll's medallion.

The coins fit.

Dne takes this opportunity to rest for a while.  He wants to be properly recharged for their next close encounter.

She starts to gather her things to move on.

Misunderstanding Aegis, Dne requests clarification.  "You want to dump the troll in the river?  Wouldn't he like it there?"

Aegis shakes his head no, but comes up the stairs and follows the group.

OOC:  How many miles and what is "iter" supposed to have been?

Aegis is back to drinking, but lightly, given their recent encounter.  They might be getting close to their goal.

Dne climbs air again, going about ten meters up.  He looks around, trying to spot any potential hazards.

The iter is a roman road with hexagonal stones, over a thousand years old and still better than modern roads.
The mile marker indicate how far to Antillus (Northport)and how far to Caldillium, which may be Saint Remy.
