The birdman does get a few looks from passers by as you enter the walled town.
Prominent in the skyline is the local cathedral, and ahead, you can see the sign of a boar bearing arms.

Dne wonders if there is any good bird seed to be found.  He also thinks of all the fun he’d have perching atop the cathedral while spewing noxious magical fumes on the town, although that would be irresponsible.  For some cruel reasons, the gods have cursed him with sterling character.  But it’s no crime to fantasize.

OOC  Aegis is going to hang around and wait for his money, but then his most important task is refilling his alcohol cabinet, with a side of rations.  And, some "recreation".

That may have some millet.

The "Beleaguered Boar" may have what Aegis seeks.

The unoriginally named "Travelers Rest" is an Inn that might suit for the night.

Dilandua heads out to find her esoteric supplies (and regular rations) and meets up with the others at the tavern later.

Still having rations and not planning to hand any alcoholics cash until the mission is complete, Reanna heads to the travellers rest and orders a room for all of them for the night.

OOC  Aegis will follow the money, grumbling passive-aggressively the whole way.  Being that he really doesn't care who he offends, it won't be of the subtle variety.

Plus, he has plenty of coin in his person, so he'll go to the Beleaguered Boar once they have their rooms for refreshments and...entertainment.

If you want to Rp it, then we totally can.  Seems more individual though, so didn't necessarily want to make everyone wait.  It's just going to be run of the mill...boaring.

Dne asks Dilandua if she would mind him tagging along.  Safety in numbers, afterall.

If she agrees, later on he’ll try to talk her into going with him to the feed store.

Dilandua agrees to accompany Dne on a shopping excurison.




OOC:  What "Group cash"?  The advance was completely spent getting a horse, a guide, and then some supplies.  Remember you put up $380 for the Guide and supplies to be repaid out of the loot before we split it.  We have only what we carried and what we've gotten since.

But if everyone is languishing outside the tavern when Dilandua returns she'll pay for rooms out of the Ogre's silver...

How much does this equate to, and how much for the rooms for us all? We only had approximate weights of copper and silver given...no definite numbers.
