Dilandua ate quickly and then simply waited for the others so they could get the on the road.

Reanna ate solidly. She did not work so well on an empty stomach, and they had some distance to go. She finished soon after Dilandua.

Aegis finishes his food, and then takes whatever wine no one else drank along when he leaves.

Dne belches like an eagle, then cries like a hawk.  This means he’s ready.

So we head straight out of the city to look for a good ambush spot where there is a choke point in the road...

OOC:  Trees, trees would be nice.  The thicker the copse the betterer.  Though honestly I'd accept anything that severely restricted horses once they left the road and allowed for us to camouflage, like dense thickets, rocky outcroppings, an abandoned frontier town, etc...

Also a decentish not completely horrid campsite relatively nearby.

But I suspect we'll be at mercy of us rolling skills we're terrible at.

Dne reminds them that he can climb up high in the air and spot them before they notice him, with any luck.

Tactics would be needed for true advantage.

OOC:  Tactics defaults to IQ-6.  Dilandua has a 4...  does anyone (like our crazy birdbrained wizard) beat that?

OOC Aegis is the same, he isn't skilled at that.  In addition to not really caring too much.  He can tough out whatever.
