Aegis scoffs at Reanna in his typical dismissive and sarcastic tone.  "I'll take care of it."  In a very business like manner, Aegis hangs his mace from his belt, puts his shield on his back, and then opens his last bottle of dwarven spirits, offering the first pull to the troll.  "Dwarvish.  It goes down smooth, and doesn't burn too bad.  Want some?"

The troll takes a long drink, and grabs Aegis by the wrist as he sits down and extends his leg.
"Get on with it then. If this one heals the wound, I shall let you pass.

“I wanna hold your haaaaand,” Dne sings sarcastically.

Aegis reaches for the bottle to take a drink himself, then hands it back to the troll. "Well, if we aren't enemies, then we are friends.  And my friends call me Aegis.  How did you get here and locked up like this? ..... "

Anyone have surgery? That would be the ideal skill for this.

Aegis sits patiently by his new friend and waits for the rest of the group to take action on the troll's leg.  In the meantime, he continues his discussion.  "Nice to meet you Wilfgar.  Where was this?  When was this?  I don't recall hearing about it, but I bet it was quite the event."

OOC  Aegis will hand the bottle back so the troll can have another drink.

The Vejovian takes out her kit and washes the troll's leg with vine before taking a scalpel to it. The work is messy, and the wound threatens to close with her hand inside. It wuickly becomes revealed that the chain ends in a cudd around the bone.

" I am going to have to saw through this to get the cuff off. Can someone keep this wounnd open si I don't get my arm stuck in him?"

The troll tritches slightly at the open wound, but does not flinch, and takes a big swig from Aegis' flask.

The troll grimaces as Alice jams Aegis knife next to her saw, so as to keep the troll's natural regeneration from sealing the woound. Seconds later, interrupted only by fresh cutiing of the gealing tissue. And she cuts through the bone, releasing the metal cuff.

Dne reluctantly climbs back down to earth, but still keeps his distance.  Making friends with a troll champion seems pretty bird-brained to him, but he keeps his opinion to himself for once.

She lays her hands on top of the wound, and the flesh flows smoothly together without even a scar.

The troll flexes his leg, and rubs it, releasing Aegis' wrist. As he leans, the medallion henging out of his throat swings on the short length of chain that protrudes from his flesh

Aegis rubs his wrist some.  The troll's grasp was firm, but during the most painful moments it was perhaps a little too firm.  He wasn't injured, but it would be sore for a while.  Still, they had come through this better than he expected.  "Keep the rest of the bottle, friend.  We have drunk together, so we are no longer enemies.  I would give you something for your travels now.  In fact, you should consider joining us, if you have interest in making some coin.  We could get you started, where you have nothing now."
