Dilandua takes several steps out from behind cover and springs into the air, over the advancing mages and the redcoats, and lands in the road, between the guards and the mages that remained behind...

Among the "remained behind" group, the tall, thin man in brown is now lying on his back in the road, legs in the air, and squirming vigorously.

After the Sandstorm has grown for a few seconds, Dne heads into the middle of the road, cutting them off.  Such is the plan.

OOC:  And the other two?  Are they just sitting on their horses onserving?  Concetrating?  Spotting Dilandua?

1 Aegis killed a second guard,4 are left.
2 the orage cloaks have dismounted,  are wearing brigandine and carrying broadswords and moving very hastily

3 Dilandua  can see the yellow cloaks, also wearing brigandine,  and mounted, and are chanting. one is raising a fireball.

4 behind them, there is a thin man in brown on the ground, that Dilandua can see is wearing leg irons.

5 the sandstorm is whipping into the red guards and advancing oranges.

6 Aegis, seeing the sandstorm, has dropped his bow and has readied shield and mace.

Dilandua again crouches, bunching muscles to spring upon the prey, but there is a tremor in the warrior's knee and instead leaping through the air, Dialndua's leg buckles and the warrior sprawls flat on the ground!

Gambled for a 'crit', just got the wrong one.  Dilandua fell down, but are they spotted?

15:22, Today: Dilandua rolled 9 using 3d6.  Invisibility Art 14.  MoS +5 - Invis Art is of no use against anyone who has already seen though Dilandua's Invis Art.

At least Dilandua fell down quietly.

Well, I rolled 4 successful dodges and one fail...so take can I say I dodged all four, due to all-out defense, or does one hit for 1 point, absorbed by DR? Was cover taken into account, as her torso is mainly behind a tree, as are her legs and arms...

She aims carefully at the skull of the fireball thrower...what is the range penalty to him?

The thin man in brown is still squirming vigorously on his back, kicking his manacled legs in the air.

OOC:  Reanna, you can't dodge a crit, and the fireball thrower is at -7 range from where we set up to attack them.

GM:  How far are those two now from Dilandua, after the jump and roll, by my calculations they're 8 10 yards away.  (30 yards, Dilandua leapt 20 yards and rolled 2).

Ah, the crit was on me, with a crossbow? I misunderstood and thought that was the fireball.

Ok, so 4 points of damage, the rest dodged or failed to penetrate DR. She will pull the bolt out before aiming at the head of the mage...

OOC:  Before DR, and it's impaling, so x2 injury.  If you only have 1 DR, that's 6 injury, which is a Major Wound.  If so, you've a few more rolls to make before just "pulling it out and aiming...":

Major Wound (p. 60): This is an injury greater than 1/2 of your HP in a blow, or any crippling wound. Make an immediate HT roll. Failure means you fall down, stunned; failure by 5+ means you’re unconscious. See Knockdown (p. 60) for modifiers and other details.

Not that you need to know, but I have DR2, so that is 2x2=4 points of damage, and 11 HP, so it most definitely not a major injury. I am not aware of any additional rolls that therefore need to be made...why do you assume I have only DR1, without even checking, when many leathers are DR2 or even more?

There is bleeding, which I thought was rolled now, but actually should be rolled after a minute. Do we use 1 second combat rounds, as per strict rules, or more like 5 seconds, which seems to me to be more realistic?

Did you get to dodge the fireball, co-incidentally? I believe that you still get a dodge while prone, albeit at -3.

OOC:  I didn't.  I said 'if' twice.  And it was to help speed things along instead of waiting for the GM to notice you missed him saying "crit".

Yes, msg 754 above, and I forgot the -3.  So Dilandua failed to dodge.

This is why my rolls are both public and have the calculations in thread, in case I make an error so someone can catch it before too much else happens.

Editted the above posts to reflect Dilandua being hit and needing Consciousness checks.

the fireball thrower is at -7 range to Reanna, and is currently casting another spell. their partner fonishes one spell, and starts another.

the orange and red are caught in the sandstorm now, and the guards, having their bolts fly out of their hands, are now slinging their crossbows, and will be drawing swords next round.

the fighter swings his mace at the knee of one of the hapless redshirts, crushing his leg and dropping him, and slams his mace into the right elbow of the one beside him, shattering his arm.

Ouch. I try to just worry about my own stuff, unless I have questions.

Reanna will not try to target any in the sandstorm, so if her current targets are in the sandstorm, she will target a mage who is not. Bracing against the tree she uses for cover, she will aim and fire her crossbow at a mage, preferably the one who cast a fireball as long as he is not in the sandstorm.

[Private to GM: Skill 16+4 (acc)+1(braced) = 21, Range -7(?)-3(Head, technique) = 11, rolled 7. Also rolled 7(2) damage, bodkin bolt.]
