the sandstorm is 10 yards accross. to get a shot on soneone directly behind it, you need to move into the woodsfor three turns, and that still puts you 20 yards away. you are being blocked by a bus effectively,  and the tree you climbed down and then tried to hide behindis only two yards from road center, or

Oh, thank you for the drawing. I see the where I am mixing it up.



She was trying to move parallel to the road, so I imagined her getting closer to where the end of the line indicating 'line of sight' is before stepping into the sunlight and getting shot at, but a bit further from the road, wanting to get some distance from Alice, who was with her at the same tree (they were close so Reanna could help her with the poison on the bolts).

If Reanna is still near the tree she climbed down, she will ask Alice to heal the injury after she has pulled the bolt out, in that case.

Dne tries to look through the Sandstorm he has created.  Can he make anything out, or is he effectively blind?

Dilandua struggles for a moment to rise, then collapses completely, unmoving.

Reanna thanks Alice, before heading parallel to the road, through the forest to where she can get a clear shot at anyone, but preferably those behind the sandstorm. As soon as she has a clear shot at anyone, either because they exit the sandstorm, or because she has moved fast enough, she will find a tree to brace against (and for cover) and start aiming.

The prisoner, manacled hand and foot as well as gagged, begins struggling back to his feet.

with a strong effort of will, (rolling 7 for dispellmagic of 14) the guildswoman collapses the sandstorm, which it appears, has injured severalof the redshirts and blinded one.

the remaining orangerobe (in heavy brigandine) squares off with Aegis.

OOC: About how far away are the yellows?  And how close is the nearest party member to them?  I’m wondering if an area attack spell would be practical.  Also, how closely are the yellows standing together?

Nevermind.  Dne casts a 4 point Explosive Lightning at one of the Yellows.  Not the one who just interrupted his spell, but the other one.
