Reanna is keen, and approaches to discuss the details. Payment, target, options...

Aegis tags along, if only to find out how much he would be paid, compared to the effort and time investment that came along with the job.

In reply to Aegis (msg # 3):

"A client arranged for an item to be transported by my boss. To our great surprise, the item turns out to have been stolen! Apparently,  the imperial Mageguild was offended by this. Our client um, disabled their representative, but it is highly likely that they will send a team to investigate,  and they may be able to identify all involved., including my boss, who had no idea that what he was doing could have incurred  their suspicion.
Naturally,  there are several parties, including Spielgud the mage, who would prefer not to have any outside involvement  occur. Collectively, they have assembled a small purse of gold for any capable of , ahem, permanantly disrupting a Mageguild inquiry. "

Aegis sits off to the side as this discussion takes place.  He has ale in his hand to drink, and some coins to flip in the air.  That is enough for him.  He doesn't need to know any more than that.  When it comes right down to it, someone will tell him what to kill.  He doesn't need to track all those painful details.  Not that he could, anyway, in his slightly inebriated state.  Still, he'll at least try to listen in, so he has a general idea of what's going on.

It would be most unfortunate if these meddling magic-users were to suffer a natural disaster in the woods.  Say, a sudden tornado.  You never know where one will turn up, especially when Im around.
