Nodwin Zideqick:
I'll politely suggest to Kalima's player that she should keep an eye on you... One way or the other.
I'm guessing you might have a bit of fun with Gareth, in an "I don't want to think about this" sort of way.
In
GURPS, Xenophilia just means that when the weird big-eyeballed sorcerer from another dimension makes threats and shows up ready to fight, Jareth talks first heedless of the obvious danger signs. And when an otyugh is out wandering around, he treats it like an errant (but very deadly) puppy instead of "kill on sight" like most adventurers. Or when he encounters weirdly coloured Hobgoblins who are clearly of a death cult and dropping obvious "and we're going to unleash death on everyone" threats, he'll speak amicably and wish them well on parting.
Basically, unless he knows it cannot be talked to or reasoned with, he'll try talking and reasoning even if it's making the threatening gestures and clearly intent on attacking. I'm waiting for him to mistake a "mindless" danger for something he can diplomacy at and get chomped. I know it's coming.
[EDIT]
I mean, he's right now commiserating with a demon summoning, infernally bound, practitioner of what are probably the Darkest Arts, who happily sells people cursed (and worse) goods.
