I'm not even much of a mage, but I could get past that door a couple different ways...

Since I am back with using shroud and put him back to the way he is, that door should not be much of a problem for him. Remember, Shroud was first and foremost a Thief/assassin build. He has the skills to get into anywhere non magical and all that. Lockpicking, Forced entry, Traps, etc. He was made to be the groups thief/ backup damage dealer. But when I had to step away he was given to someone else and turned into a scout, luckily he did not do much so it was easy to switch him back. I will have Shroud check out the door. Just tell me what skills I need to roll.

Jendrich is a bodyguard first, at least at the moment. If Rush wants to look into something, he'll follow. As for the city... he doesn't feel it's his place to push the others to explore it, but he plans on suggesting that the guild send another group to deal with it, and will accompany said group if allowed.

Of course, if Rush may want to send some of his guards there to help his business relations with the troll...

I thought the mission was to guard the caravan to the hobgoblin areas beyond the Troll Warrens, with side mission of trading with the Trolls while passing through those areas?
