From behind the front line, Grimaldi casts, and directs a medium size ball of crackling, white lightning towards the next moray he deems most menacing at the moment!

Ülo mutters something eldritch and steps over to Jendrich laying glowing hands over his wound which begins to reknit...



OOC:  Jendrich at 5 damage before DR, how much cutting injury did you take?

Ülo is transferring 1 point of injury this turn (max speed at her skill level).

OOC: Just three damage. A bit of luck on a first-aid check could deal with what's left.

OOC: Grimaldi could use some healing, he just took 7 damage, but now i'm like Ernest from Ernest goes to jail, with lightning balls.

He tries to help Grimaldi but the die roller beats him silly.   [this die roller seems very slanted toward high numbers for me.]

The eels bones are briefly visible, and its charred,stunned form collapse by the hole. Two other morays appear stunned also...


Syvanus feels the energy drain from him, and glowing ectoplasm smears Grimaldi to no effect.

Sensing the spell fizzled, Grimaldi spoke:
"Forsooth!The magic has been fickle, as of late!"
But looked on with satisfaction at his lightning ball's effect.

OOC:  Sorry Grimaldi, squeaky wheel got the HP grease.  Definitely try to take care of you post fight, but you're too injured for her to be able to do more than she did for Jendrich... and in his case 1 HP stops bleeding.  You're burned, unless you're bleeding, well...

OOC:No worries. I can steal health from willing or helpless beings too. Maybe some of the regenerating trolls can lend me a bit as well, after some first aid...

OOC:  If the great beast below is connected tot he eels, then it's likely they aren't "dead", just crippled appendages.  You could try Stealing Vitality before we leave the area... and before Ulo gets around to having them drug up and out so she can butcher them.

OOC:the thought of taking their last dying dregs of HT from them, did cross my mind...

"Ack! It's waking up! Rush, try speeding through. We'll distract the remaining ones." Jendrich hurries to the next pit, baiting out the beast inside it to keep it busy while the caravan passes.

Switching to Ready action, stepping into the eel's range and attacking as soon as it strikes.

Only a few lie ahead. Darg cleaves one, Rafik shoots one in the skull, killing it, and the orc cuts another, causing it to withdraw. The ground rumbles!

Ülo stays by the cart, but it's clear, by the way she keeps glancing back at them, that leaving those eel carcasses behind is making her anxious.

Cracks continue to appear between the holes where eels have been killed,  and all of thre remaining eels are rising out of their holes and hissing.

You are nearly clear, better make a run for it!

Ülo lends her meager frame to helping push the cart.

While the chariot moves, Jendrich charges the remaining eels, striking the nearest one as quickly as he can, though the swing goes wild.
