Hoping to give Darg the space he needs to fight, Jendrich charges at the diving gargoyle, shield first.

[Private to GM: I'm not sure how far I need to move to hit the gargoyle. If I just need a step, I'll go for a normal Shield Bash, otherwise I'll Move & Attack with a Shield Slam.
A 7 should hit (my skill is 15 before modifiers)... but unless he's coming right at me, the damage is 0.

Jendrich connects with the creature, with a crunch, and as it continues hurtling forward, it reaches overand claws at his torso for 3 cutting before DR.

The cold of it seeps into his bones, draining him of 5 Fp

Grohm made a quick side step to get a better angle on the gargoyle and thrust with his glaive.

"Pin it to the floor and we can finish it.", Grohm shouted.

the Deeoguardsman pivots his halberd to aim the rear spike at the flying wight, and swings at it, doing little damage but ensnaring it.

He comes back on guard for whatever the Gargoyle does next.

Jendrich gasp at the deadly cold. Thankfully, his mail is strong enough to hold back the beast's claws, but it did nothing against his terrifying aura. Out of sheer reflex, he swings his sword at the creature's wing, hoping to ground it, forgetting how little his sword did.

with a screech, the injued gargoyle flies up and prepares for another dive. meanwhile,  the other one is pinned...

The noise of the conflict finally penetrates Ülo's haze, she gets up, and comes over to the door, "Kurat!"

"Finish off the pinned one! Quickly! I'll try to hold the other one back!" Despite Jendrich's brave words, there's not much he can do but circle around the rest of the group, trying to get in the way of the flying undead.

[Private to GM: I try to stay in position to do a Sacrificial Dodge, so I can stop the gargoyle from attacking the others.]

"I'm on it!", Grohm growled.

Once again, he thrust his glaive at the pinned gargoyle.  Grohm felt the blade bite deep. He smiled to himself and leaned into it.

the undead gargoyle flies down at Grimaldi, doing 4 pts crushing and 2 pts energy drain- you need a crit to defend, and DR doesn't count!

Grimaldi tries to dodge, but is descended upon!

Ulo chants, sways a quick two-step, and a light green shield encompasses Grimaldi.

Jendrich mutters a curse under his breath, and maneuvers to stand behind the gargoyle. If it has any form of intelligence, it will have to turn around, somewhat, giving an opening to those with more reliable weapons.

the flying Gargoyle is looking quite bad, and the one Grohm 'Tahl is working over looks really bad as well.

Grimaldi,  make a will roll vs the flaming skull.

Encouraged by his success, Grohm once more, thrust his glaive at the pinned gargoyle.
