As she was casting, Ülo had removed her cloak and held it in her left hand, when she made the final steps and spoke the final words she snapped it in the direction of the wall behind the skull bridging some of the distance and the wall begins to flow forward to surround the skull!



OOC:  I should actually research an attack version of this, say "Animate Surroundings" or something that would move at combat speeds.

13:26, Today: Ulo rolled 11 using 3d6.  Shape Stone 14 (Skill 16 - 2 Footprint + 2 Extra Time - 2 Range).

A reminder to the GM: "Earth moved with this spell travels at Move 2; stone, at Move 1. It can do harm only by flowing over and burying an immobile person, or by disappearing from beneath someone to create a hole. Either way, would-be victims may move normally on their next turn to escape; only those who fail to do so are trapped."

Hopefully the skull is buttoned into the corner...

the cauldron rattles slightly, but stays face down.


in addition to the door you entered through, there are two other doors in the same wall.

"Wait, please hold the cauldron against the ground until I ask you to lift it slightly."  Excess stone* slowly flows down the wall and across the floor, it slides past Grohm and Jendrich's feet avoiding them, and encircles the lip of the cauldron.

"Lift it only slightly, enough that I can slide the stone under and fashion a cover."  Ülo smiles happily.



OOC:  When they lift it, she have the stone flow to form a sealed cover for the cauldron.

* Unneeded for entombing the skull, the walls and ceiling are thinner there now, but still substantial (I hope).  She was aiming to only take a few inches of depth off the area.

Jendrich breathed a sigh of relief once the skull vanished, only to jump on the cauldron at Ulo's call. It's only when he sees the stone seal that he relaxes again. "I hope that's the last of these... but just to be sure, maybe we should hurry and leave?"

Grimaldi sighs in relief.
"Good work! Well, now what?..If we go on, we need to rest and recover."
He quenches the magical flame from his estoc, and sheathes it.

Ülo points to the middle door, "That no doubt leads to the meteor hallway, the other hopefully leads to a room that allows us to get around the statues."

She walks over the bulge in the corner that is the entombed skull, "Gonna have to figure out how to remove you from the wall... safely... cage you... make a good guard," then she plunks down on the floor against the wall, pulls out a piece of dried meat, and starts chewing into it.  "I agree, rest is good now.  Third door after."

Grimaldi nods in agreement, and rests near the entrance. He has a few draughts of ale, and takes a jar with a stopped lid, and a kerchief bundled around a crust of bread. The smell of pickled pork mingles with dungeon, as Grimaldi samples his wares...
"Let's see how good this stuff is, for myself.."

After a brief rest and repast, you are all ready to hit the next door

"Alright, I'll open when you're ready." Jendrich says, standing next to the door.

the door awaits... it is heavy, and like the other two, ornate.

Taking a deep breath, Jendrich pushes the door open, keeping his shield ready.

Jendtich pushes the large (3 yardsx2 yards) door open, revealing s dusty corridor lined with shelving. a few books and other objects are still on the shelves; the left hand side shel es are partially collapsed. snd there is some debris on the floor in the dust.

"Go in, see if you feel that 'cold' feeling."

Grohm rushed forward to back up up Jareth as he opened the door.   He stood behind him and peered into the room.

the relative level of manna is constant. the left hand wall is buckled, and most of the shelves emptied as they cracked and warped.  there are a few books on the right hand wall, although very dusty.

Grimaldi blows the dust away, and examines the titles..

Jendrich moves further down the corridor, looking for tracks in the dust, especially near any doors he sees.
