While Grimaldi collected the books, Grohm knelt down before the left hand shelves and ran his fingers through the dust and debris to see if there was anything worthwhile to be found.

Grohm blew the dust off of the amulet and examined it for a moment.

"Mage. Can you read these markings?", Grohm asked Grimaldi.  He held the amulet out in his out turned palm.

this is an alchemical amulet of Moly-magic resistance-it gives considereable MR for around an hour, and takes several weeks to recharge

"You've found an amulet of protection from magic! This will give resistance to spells for a time, but it takes awhile to be able to use again, as it needs to recharge."
Grimaldi hands it back to the orc.

yes this door should exit between two of the last statues, closer to the Troll compound.

"Those doors open to the statues, give me a moment and I'll seal them off as well."

"Thank you. I may be helpful in the future.", Grohm replied with a nod.

He took back the amulet, put around his neck and tucked it into his armor.

if you are sealing the doors, how do you intend to exit this area?

"Do you want us to clear away the shelves? I'm assuming you'll use the wall's stones to block the door, so you can get a head start on making a tunnel out?"

"Yes, exactly Jen... mmm.  Jend-rich was it?  Exactly that, sort the good from the trash and then I'll start working on the exit tunnel after sealing the door.  Hmmm.  I'll have to seal the other door too, the one that leads to the unmagic hall.  Though it too should be looted thoroughly first, though leave the fallen star metal, that can be retrieved later."

Grimaldi stood back at a vantage point where he could survey the entire room, then he began walking. Ringing his eyes with his fingers, Grimaldi looked about and spoke magic words...
"Mysteria Revelare!"

"I think it wise that we have passed the hall of animated statues, I am just at a loss as to how this passage might become a regular route?"

"It's gonna need some stretching to be fully useful. But if there's money to be made, some people will be willing to do the work." Jendrich was already moving the books away from the right wall, setting aside the ones that seemed less damaged for the others to examine, only to pause when Grimaldi announces his discovery.

"The entrance tunnel was cut to be wide enough for a cart.  Just need to connect through these rooms and cut a tunnel out beyond the statues area of guardianship."

"I suppose that could work. I know a stonemason or two."


the entire bookcase shifts as Jendrich pulls on one of the books!

"If Ulo does all of that work to widen the tunnel, it would be wise to close the exits back up after the return trip.  That way others cannot take advantage of our efforts.  If we were the only ones that can safely make this trip again, it would guarantee more work in the future.", Grohm suggested.

"No return trip. Rafik, Ulo almost home."

But always good to have another tunnel to use, ask any rabbit  He smiles.
