For the lower room (currently having its rats collected)to be useable, that puddle may need to be drained, and the floor above fortified, as well as having the gate to the outer hall supplemented by a door, an another placed on your side of the bridge.

Aldous looks into the pool at the lower end of the room, trying to determine how deep the water is, and whether it's at the level of the river, or higher or lower.  Is the water clear, or turbid from recent disturbance?

There are exits to the outer corridor from both the goblins side of the "river" and your own.

The locking mechanisms are large and crude, and made of bronzed iron.

Aine wants to keep resting another 15+ minutes, for a total of 20 minutes...much longer if called upon to shape the waters beside her...

Thorg uses his spear to probe the water for depth and anything on the bottom, he stay out of the water for now...
