"Nope."  He lifts his nearly-flat pouch and lets it fall against his hip -- with barely a sound.

In reply to Aldous Hack (msg # 232):

Apart from her tiny staff, Aine has very little. Rations, basics and a wineskin in her webbing sums it up.
No bag even...

In reply to Thorg (msg # 234):

The water gets to be about a foot deep, and is lapping at the second step up to the door.
Halfway in, Throg notices something on the floor, something bulky that gives a little.

"Hol' on, li'l one, le's see whut we c'n do first."  Aldous puts his lantern carefully down on the dry part

"Won't learn nothin' that way."  Aldous continues to wade into the water, keeping to the side so the
light from his lantern shines on whatever Thorg was poking.

He reverses the Spear so that if anything attacks Aldous, he can respond with the point.

Sven comes closer to Thorg, since he has a long weapon, suited for prodding.

Knife ready, left hand free, Aldous wades close to the object, still approaching
from the side so as to keep as much light
 as possible where he's looking.

Aldous takes a good grip on the straps and starts backing toward the shallower water,
 where Aine and Thorg wait.

The ling you are pulling weighs as much as you, and seems to be stuck in something.

As it breaks the water,
you can see that it is man sized, but covered in wet, matted fur.

In reply to Svendegard Yurick (msg # 255):

There is a horrid gurgling asyou pull it free, and the water bubbles.  The body , wearing a leather backpack and swordbelt, has legs crushed in midthigh by a heavy metal grate that appears to have buckled slightly around the left leg, but the spaces in the grate seem to be two narrow for its foot or knee to have slipped through
