Tavern part 2

"There's the old tarp, some rope from the stables, and some worn out flour sacks, that'll be good enough for hoods. We should try and lure them into a place where they can be taken one at a time. Upstairs would be a good place to lead them..where we can kick them back down if they try to come up, and we'll catch 'em one at a time!"

After pulling the lever to reopen the stairs, you head down into the dark. The air is close, as if the space were small. One at a time...marching order.

Thorg will lead as soon as Sparky gives him a bright light source...

Sparky casts it on Thorg's buckler (Front).

[Private to GM:  13:55, Today: Sparky rolled 6 using 3d6.  Continual Light.  Skill is 13 ]

Thorg advances, shining his light to the front ... Aine's staff provides light in all other directions I assume.

Aldous, lantern held high in his left hand, follows Aine down the stairs.  He pulls one of his small knives and readies it for a throw, then glances over his shoulder.

"Come on, we're likely to need all of us down there."

Svendegard removes the pin, lifts the latch, and will push on the door to try and open the passage to the group.

As he speaks, Aldous sheaths the small knife, and draws his larger one, with a fighting grip rather than a throwing one.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 30):

The door creaks open into a modest sized chamber with a few enteances.  Three smallish figures seem taken aback by the blinding light shining out of the doorway, and perhaps by the existence of the doorway as well.
