Correction, Kazmir lops off the clutching hand, and Throg runs it through with his spear, killing it... again.

Re: Tavern part 2

Aldous steps back up to the door to collect his lantern (again), and shines the light through the open door -- in part to check if there are more where that one came from.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 439):

Translated:
We need to secure this door and get back better prepared. Wights are very dangerous! Their touch is deadly in itself, and they can tear a person apart. We would be good to get some consecrated substances with which to combat this threat appropriately.

The mother and daughter discuss this possible strategy, and it's risks...
"...Да, но если я не могу напугать его, и у нас нет резервного плана, который является надежным, то что, а??..."

...yeah, but if i cant frighten it, and we don't have a back up plan that's foolproof, then what, eh??...

"Did the fire effect it? Others using oil flasks may also help. But I had another idea...if it freezes water into ice, if we could half immerse it in water, would it freeze the water to ice and so entrap itself?"

Re: Tavern part 2

As the others discuss how to deal with the creature beyond the gate, Aldous recovers his lantern (again) and cautiously steps past the formerly animated corpse in the doorway to look over the next room.

Aldous approaches the doorway into the other small room, taking a curved path and moving his lantern side to side to see as much of the room from as far away as possible.

OOC: just showing roll i made back a few lines, to help determine what will be sufficient to stop and harm the thing. thinking: antidoron, holy water, consecrated oil/incense. Or runes, in her culture, probably...
