Re: Tavern part 2

In reply to Nana Yurick (msg # 503):

Searching for "pawned" silvered goods, Nana stumbles into a fortified shop that might not quite be a right fit for her. The shopkeeper, a brooding, ugly man is showing a vial to a one eyed archer, while a large blind folded fellow with a spiked mace stands by looking like he is trying to make an excuse for something. All three turn angrily as Nana opens the door.

"You idiot! I told you to bar the door!"

Ahem. Kasmir did not say previously that he was following his daughter on her quest for weapons, however,  he did pay for her to be a constant ally, but can't the girl have her own critical failure?

20:18, Today: Kazimir Yurick rolled 6 using 3d6.  Area Knowledge (Northport) [1] 13.

Once outside and in the street again, Kazimir says to his daughter:
"My child, I think we're looking entirely in the wrong place! Let's go over to the temple district, there's bound to be silver smiths and armorers that deal in the weaponry we need to put down undead. We can also get the holy substances we'll need there as well, I'm sure."

OOC:for 3 lbs, and $50x3 ($150) i could get silvered, conical shield bosses which would be a wise investment against undead.

In reply to Thorg (msg # 517):

Silvered and balanced, at 105% $158

Shield bosses are not often silvered. Scrounge at -2

The temple district might be a good place to find slaying tools.

Anyone buying holy water?

In reply to Kazimir Yurick (msg # 524):

The holy water comes in half pint vials that are quite breakable as might be needed.
Cost is $15, $14 for the truly devout.

Considering that the bottles alone cost $10 this is a steal

How many snd who is getting them

Reasonable cost -- as noted, the container is 2/3 of the cost.  Aldous will purchase two -- presumably "Devout Triunist" is what you're talking about?

Re: Tavern part 2

In reply to Narrator (msg # 528):
Your tip leads you to a building near the border of Redlight and Artisan, where a fortified stone shop with barred windows and a reinforced door displays the three balls of a pawnshop.

Metal placards of the pheonix fire protection service and the temple of hermes mark the doorframe. As you open the door, a bell rings.
You arein a small room with an iron door and a barred window.
The gentleman behind the bars speaks:
"Good afternoon. Are you interested in applying for a secured loan?"
