Re: Tavern part 2

you head towards the right, in a barrel vaulted corridor 4 yards wide and 3 high at the center (the arch starts at around 2 yards up, and rhere is some colored tile running along the wall at that height, although most of the tiles are gone.
against either side is a shallow gutter, with periodic grates bolted in place. the corridor continues for twenty yards before opening into a four way intersection.

halfway on either side there are a pair of gates like thr one you came through, both locked. you do not have the key, the go lin kept it.

"Le's see'f we needit.  Shoe-chew mania."

Sheathing his smallsword, Aldous steps up to the gate, pulls out his picks (one of which still glows like a candle flame), and goes to work on the lock.

[Private to GM: 19:38, Today: Aldous Hack rolled 10 using 3d6.  Lockpicking (13 +1 for lit lockpick).]

Straightening, Aldous puts his tools away, raising his lantern once more as he draws his sword.  He pauses, then if no one else steps up, continues forward, cautiously.
