"Aethul, right," says Hannatti thoughtfully. "So are your other companions here. Would you be able to point them out, then I might at least be on nodding terms with them?"

"Well, they're decent people by and large. Just a few troublemakers," answers Hannatti. "Like those that scarpered when we arrived. Several of those were the folks I had a run in with yesterday. A felloe with a big mouth showing off to his mates. He wouldn't go away. When he put his hands on me for the second time, I rearranged his danglers. He challenged me to 'try that again' now that he was ready. So I did. Then his mates joined in and the fight spread and they drew steel." She shrugs. "I find it difficult to back down.  But sometime soon he' gather his freinds, more of them, and try something and then it will get worse.."

Hannatti pauses. "But I don't think I know of any vampyres. Would you tell me about them?"

"Not a lot we know, but magical, and perhaps silvered, weapons would be needed. Blood-sucking undead parasites, what can we say? Hopefully they will have a lot of valuables then need to be relieved of..."

After a while Balir comes back to the tavern, looking concerned at his axe. Ignoring everyone else he sits down at the table and halfway mutters to himself and halfway says aloud to the others "I don't think I can sharpen ole' Earthwarden here anymore, without takin' off the silver. How am I supposed to kill things without a sharp axe ..."
He throws an eye up at the others and notices a new face. He seems bothered by the arrival and asks Hannatti slightly annoyed "And who are you? This is a private table."

Balir looks at Hannatti with semi-closed semi-angry eyes. A human woman treating him - a dwarf - like this and apparently fully expecting it to go unnoticed. He is about to get back up and tell her a few things about how things work, but decides against it. Instead he scowls at her, and looks at the others to see what their reaction is. There is clearly something going on here that he is not in on.

"Hey! I'm Hannatti! Impressive beard! Have we met already? I'd buy you a beer but I don't have the coin." Noting the scowl she stands her ground but is uncertain as to whether she should scowl back as some dwarven ritual. She looks at the cleric for guidance.
