Chou-Zhen continues to walk or wade through the paddies toward the voices.  He allows the lightning whip to lapse, then speaks a single complex word, bringing a crackling ball of energy into his left hand.  He looks for a target for this lightning as he advances.

OOC: My default Intimidation is 4, with a net +2 as you gave earlier -- but even without the +2, my roll of 4 is a success.  Should actually be a roll of 3, forgot Akitsu-san's blessing.  Not sure what you're saying was actually a 2...

Ales brings the rope as requested.

Speaking in Aralaise, so the prisoners can understand: "So, five here, three or four dead, out of two dozen who appeared.  Are the rest still running?"

"There were, I think, five killed in the initial attack, and their goods were given to the eta. How many died wheile you were gathering these prisoners?"

"One drowned, I think, after my lightning struck him -- I doubt the bolt alone could have killed him.  Did you kill any, Ales?"

"My friends gave me two to bury back further. Here are their possessions."

"Chye killed one with bow..."
