Ales, seeing the beggar's discomfort at their traveling menagerie, reaches into his coin purse. He starts putting a few coppers in the first beggar's bowl.

"My name is Ales. I'm an adventurer in the employ of the Omo of Northport. We wish you no harm and merely want to pass through on our way home."

Chye bellows, as the caravan rolls through. He shifts his polearm into a crossbar.

"Senyor,what is given to one, will be fought over by the others...Goodly intent becomes discord..."
Iskander says ominously...

"I fear Iskander and Chye have the right of it.  Good as it would be to give to these, even if one had to resources to give to all, doing so would take more time than we should spend here.  Better, perhaps, if we could fund food and shelter for a large number -- as I believe the Omo already does."

Saishi will create some food out of nearby shrubs on his way in to feed the beggars, instructing them to work on untamed land if they really want the blessings of the Harvest.

you take an hour to get to the temple gate, and make your way through. as you pass the small stalls where icons and statuettes are sold, you spy an infernal being pelted with garbage, and also a number of black turbaned cultists chanting.

Chye is drawn to the disturbance, and what is going on, and who is who!
