Re: Return to temple hill

Ginko bursts into action when the creature vanishes. Unlikely as it was that even one as quick as he could strike at the imp before it moved away there was at least the off chance that a broader attack might still be effective. The pixie silently wonders to himself if it takes any sort of concentration to stay invisible.

OOC: Move and attack, fly to range 1 of where the imp vanished and Kiai.

This was a legal maneuver in another game and didn't suffer penalties for move an attack as kiai is HT based so DX penalties don't apply. It might have been a house ruling or some such. Let me know if there are any issues or just apply whatever penalties you feel appropriate.

18:26, Today: Ginko Bitterpetal rolled 13 using 3d6.  Kiai - 13.

the imp, who you can roughly see by its shadow on the ground, appears to have resisted the Kai, and made a rude gesture!

a foul taste erupts in the Bouda's mouth, as he bites down into something he can smell, but not see- a dead miniature devil danfmgles from his jaw, and horrible ichor runs down his neck, and into his mouth!

Re: Return to temple hill

He gags and drops the thing from his mouth, then spits and tries to rinse his mouth with his water jug... spluttering he manages like rotten egg and Hot pepper... he spits some more and tries to wash the ichor off of himself.

[Private to GM: I have been told rotten egg has a vaguely sulperous taste, but had no interest in confirming it. Thanks for letting Urrun do a stupid.]

as the rest of you continue your exorcisms, the reddish light flickers and fades away. The area is free from demonic taint, but needs to be reattenuated. several pixies fly toward the stones, alerting  Ginko.

Ginko meets the approaching pixies in the air and greets them. He was not following the proceedings here very well but could feel the change as the taint recedes.

Stenet pauses as the pixies arrive, "Let me know when the runesmiths say the gate is properly realigned, or at least unaligned with Hell."

Stenet then returns to committing exorcism on the area.

In reply to Pixie (msg # 400):

So Melchizadek will wait to hear from the new arrivals that the job is done before moving on...probably by starting with a rousing song to Sense Foes...

[Private to GM: Rolled 7 under skill to sense foes, spell has a song component, once he is confident the gate is not prone to further demonic entry]
