Return to temple hill

In reply to Hograth Podkarmen (msg # 111):

The woman, who is trancendantly beautiful and awe inspiring frowns slightly at Hograth.

"I am indeed the Lady of this place and time.
Why has my husband sent you to spy upon me?
Our ancient agreement grants me this time in this place without interference.

Ginko descends from his watchful position and bows before the lady. "Forgive me, but they showed no reservations when they destroyed the demons in the field. It was clumsy work, but decisive."

"I serve only the Haderaum, Unless you are married to Hades, I can say I do not serve your husband. In truth, I do not know who your husband is, but unless it is Hades himself, you are not correct. If you are married to Hades, why to you tolerate demons in your realm?"

Urrun wanders over to a tree behind the group and (hopefully) out of sight of the queen. Nature is not taking "wait a bit" as an answer...

In reply to Urrun (msg # 120):

The woman on the throne stares at Hograth, waiting for his own words to sink in.

Hograth goes suddenly pale, as he realizes (as does Stenet) just who the lady is...

Re: Return to temple hill

Stenet makes a choking sound and stomps out in front of Hograth, "Lady of Spring, we're here to remove a demon infestation from these lands.  If you'll pardon His boorish servant," he indicates Hograth with a thumb, "we do understand that disagreement with demons and the Lord of the Underworld are not mutually exclusive subjects.  Allow us reign to root out the demons, and we'll be gone."

He stands as tall as he can (four foot four inches) and uses as diplomatic a voice as he can muster, but really... isn't very diplomatic at all.

OOC:  20:23, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 10 using 3d6.  Diplomacy 6.  Trying to diplomance the Fairy Queen of Spring, the Goddess Persephone.

The dice could have loved me...

Re: Return to temple hill

The goddess frowns.

"Demons have no place here, they need be in Tartarus as allowed, or in the depths of the pit.
Likewise, the minions of my husband have no place here. There are many doors to this place, perhaps it was time they were duly warded.
Through which gate came you?"

Re: Return to temple hill

Stenet points back in the direction they came from.  "It's near where this guy was assigned to guide us, amidst a field of sunflowers."  Stenet cocks his thumb at Ginko.

"You have, at the least, Doom Children in your garden.  But those creatures usually herald a much larger, more vicious* and cunning demon."

After standing in awe of the lady for some time, Goran recovers his decorum, and quietly nods.  He had nothing more to offer the people in this conversation, especially since Hors was not in the theological discussion.
