Re: The Black Tower

OOC  I thought you could swing/kick or thrust/kick depending on the action.  Regardless, I rolled damage for the strike as a thrust.

[Private to GM: 08:35, Today: Secret Roll: Haveron Stormwal rolled 7 using 1d6+2.  Haveron Kick damage 1d+2.]

Haveron turns around to see what is happening behind him.  Is the construct still coming for him?

OOC 2-H sword parry if something swings at him, return fire with the greatsword if it comes to that.

[Private to GM: In case they are needed.

He creates another to replace the one he just threw. How far is the nearest one now? Have they moved towards me? If they are getting close to melee range, he will beat a retreat out the door...

The creatures hand releases its grip on your leg, and scuttles over tobthe severed head. The legs are worming their way to the torso, and the remaining hanfd is pulling a needle and thread out of a pouch. It appears to be completely disinterested in you, and concerned about gathering up its bits.
The wardrobe stands in the corner.

Having destroyed two golems with doomrazor and the treetrunk, Teresa and Gorgath decapitate and pulverize the one Ryojin  just put a crack into. The burnt one with the hole in it is heading down the hallway, a space too narrow for Teresa, and just wide enough for Gorgath to thrust, but Ryojin will get to it first.

Re: The Black Tower

Haveron reaches down and picks up the head, holding it by whatever is most convenient (hair, if it has any).  He then turns it's face so they can see eye to eye, and he speaks to the thing.  It's obviously a being of magic, and still alive.

"Cease your action, and I will leave you be when we depart, so you can sew yourself together.  Otherwise, we will destroy you.  I hold no malice towards the creatures in there or yourself.  We are here to see your master, and investigate the tower.  We have no way to discuss this, and your aggressiveness left us no other choice but to defend ourselves."

OOC  If we had just handed over our coats and had a refreshment, I'm sure the butler would have guided us along in a more friendly manner.  However, Haveron isn't experienced with constructs like these, and the mage who could have explained it is a bit of a loose cannon.
