Safwan crosses the hall avoiding one of the master's servants with a club ready chasing a rat. "They keep the [grunt] alimañas at bay." Another sliding door reveals a medium room crowded with bookshelves and a writing desk. The room is very clean, though it looks like some of the shelves have had books removed. "Safwan shares this [grunt] knowledge with you freely, but you mustn't take any of the master's books from this room."

Berry will also wander, looking for books. Not being able to take the books makes things trickier. If she finds something good, maybe Var can manage.

thebooks look to be of good quality, and as far as you can guess by the titles, the section on Thaumatology is missing, although there are one or two occult titles.

the books are a mix of Valdassyan and Aralaise, witha few in Elvish, Latin, and Greek. There are books on herbs "Herbology", architecture "Confabulum Construtori", natural philosophy "A booke of Beasties" and a gemreat many others, nearly a hundred... even for ordinary topics, these are worth $50-$400 each...

as you are looking at the books, a wall panel slides open and a wooden construct that is part feather duster part broom steps out, and begins dusting the shelves, and then sweeping the dust.
a much smaller one sweeps the pile toward a diagram etched onto the floor, where the dust disappears.

When the cleaners come out, Gareth watches it closely, looking at the spot where stuff disappears. He will find something useless to put there to test it...a stone or similar.

The Adept looks for books that might be of interest to him on religeon, two handed sword fighting and anything written in his language.

Amelia talk to their guide, "Please can you show me where some specific types of books are?"
