Berry sighs when the group decides to leave, but she does tear herself away from the books and keeps up. "Never split the party" was advice she had heard once and it seemed like good advice to her.

(Berry had been looking for anything that might look like it had info on mystical power.)

you pass through the charging room using the same code as before, the lightning glyph, and head out the other side so as to be next to the stairs that lead back to the room next to the defeated stone golems.

Amelia makes a note of the code and counts how many stairs they ascend.

once in the room of destroyed golems and scorched wallpaper, there are two doors of the 4 that you haven't passed through... Safwan leads you past one of the rooms and to the door oppise the stairs down.

a stone spiral staircase leads upward...

She counts stairs and doors, occasionally pausing to write the numbers down in the back of the mapping book, then scurrying to catch up.

But he shares Haverons caution, since the creature has shown dedication to its programming up until now. If he was creating it, he wouyhave it programmed to lead interlopers into a trap...

Amelia writes down the number of steps and circclies the number to indicate an archway. If there's line of sight she glances through the archway but does not deviate from following Safwan.

           (Or, if it's easier, else just call it "1st floor", assuming the previous level was the ground floor).
Just checking, this is the first visible archway (or doorway) since we started clmibing stairs?
