Haveron tries to move the golem out of the way of the cabinet.  He hets a shoulder around the thing, but it's awfully strong.  With muscles flexing, he tries to move the thing.

[Private to GM: Made it by 2.  Probably not enough.
13:37, Today: Secret Roll: Haveron Stormwal rolled 12 using 3d6.  Haveron ST 14.

"Well, now, it looks like we have some action...at last! Finally, something to throw this at!"

He flings the fireball he has bee holding for what seems like an eternity at the nearest statue!

[Private to GM: From when he cast it, ages ago, message 843 of the previous thread: Gareth's ball of fire is white hot and energy free.
He had rolled a 6, skill 21. Grown to 6d...rolled 12 under to hit. Rolled 21 damage.

A hole dripping molten lave opens in the statue's torso. You can see straight through it, but lacking any internal organs or a spine or the ability to feel pain, it pulls back its weapon for a strike!

Finally, action.

Ryojin thought to himself.

Seeing as these creatures are made of stone he will need to use some chi. He steps in close to the nearest statue and as he lowers himself he gathers his chi into his fist, readying it to penetrate. He launches upward with his fist, trying to carve at the stone statue.

"SHORYUKEN!"

ooc: karate uppercut with penetrating strike, both succeed. Damage is 10 cr with armor divisor 2 if target fails defense.

Haveron isn't sure if his actions triggered the behavior of the statues, and he knows that his sword will be sorely missed in a battle, but...  He cannot help but believe that the wardrobe in front of him was vital in some way.  Thus, Haveron goes after it with a single-mindedness that Gareth would be proud of.

OOC  All out effort to open the wardrobe, since the 'butler' has not proven to combative. Also, the player knows that Gareth disturbed something, but I doubt Haveron would have noticed that.  He thinks they are responding to him (right or wrong).

The martial artists chips some stone and leaves a crack that runs deep in the nearest golem.

The one with the hole through it beings down its blade on Gareth, doing 13 points cutting before DR unless dodged.

Not clear on the layout, I presume he can move to the exit unhindered now? Also, did the burnt one appear to take less damage than the punched one?

[Private to GM: Rolled 9, dodge 11, +3 for Retreating dodge, so 4 under.]

ooc: Looks like That private to the Narrator is a typo, assuming it took 8 damage from my hit then it has DR 4 which means it took 17 burn damage from your attack which makes sense since it says "1u", the "u" is under the 7.

In reply to Berry (msg # 57):

As there are 4, a second one swings at Gareth, striking for 9 points cutting before DR if it hits.

The one struck by the Martial artis swings also at him, doing 11 points cutting before DR if not dodged,  any parrying weapon may be broken.

This leaves one ready to attack, and both Gorgath and Teresa are in the room

Meanwhile,  by virtue of having parried a grab attempt, Haveron now has his back to the wardrobe and is facing the flesh golem.

Re: The Black Tower

With a sigh, Haveron senses that he will not be able to open the wardrobe with the construct blocking his way.  He is not a mage, nor does he understand the magics at work here, so he falls back to what he knows.

[Private to GM: Rapid strikes, 2 swings at -3 against the legs of the thing, he will expend 2 fatigue.  With the -2 for legs, he should be rolling at a 15.  He hits twice, and could very well de-leg the thing.  Parry if it hits back.

23:39, Today: Secret Roll: Haveron Stormwal rolled 12 using 3d6.  Haveron parry 14.

[Private to GM: If there was someone else swinging at him, he would take all out defence (increased dodge) +2 and retreating dodge +3, since he is moving to the exit, as previously stated. that gives him dodge of 10 +5 = 16, rolled 14.]

Re: The Black Tower

Even though Haveron has removed most of the threat from the humn construct in front of him, he still does not trust it to leave him alone.  he steps forward with his left, and kicks the thing square in the chest, in an attempt to knock it over onto it's back.
[Private to GM:
He should hit, and given it's current condition I don't think it would require much to knock it over - though I do not know the legless rules.  At 10 points crushing I expect it will be knocked down.  His DX has probably dropped considerably.

16:28, Today: Secret Roll: Haveron Stormwal rolled 11 using 3d6.  Haveron Brawling 15.
