Haveron,on the stairs, calls out to Gareth
"Ware, I am behind you!"

the Reaver that Gareth cast his spell on looks sickly, and the one that wounded Safwan attacks the Adept, striking for 10 points cutting before DR unless parried or dodged

Gareth make a will roll, Adept make 2 will rolls

In reply to Adept Yisslitheniss (msg # 801):

the reaver also parries... please reroll those will checks.

Gareth, unless you turn around, make a dex check.

if you are watching, the reaver looks sickly, and is sweating heavily and swaying on his feet... the spell is fairly slow in its final effects.

as Safwan recovers their bearings, and Adept Ysslithenis squares off with one of the reavers, the one who attacked Gareth coughs up a puff of smoke.
Tendrils of smoke are starting to work
their way out of the joints in their armor, and steam is rising from his head.

the others advance. swords in the guard position.
