Someone else is rolling strings of crits? What is going on with the dice roller?

Wait, I should check, that was meant for Yisslitheniss, right?

Berry is going to wait for others to get through the door, making room for them best she can.

that was for Urrun. crossed the streams.

we can proceed through the door:

within is a large domed room with a set of coincentric circles in the center, marked with fragmented runes.

Gareth, Berry, and Var.
there are two doors, each with a sigil lock, and the apparatus on the floor looks like a larger version, and each ring has a pair of knobs to aid in turning it.

So do we want to go about this randomly, or bash our way through? Berry asks while she tries to puzzle out the sigils.

15:44, Today: Berry rolled 6 using 3d6.  Berry thaum-14 roll?

there are no replacement golems in the area. you do know that standard healing spells do not work on golems, and that there are another group of spells involved for each type, and that the secretive Golem enchantment is a requisite.

turning the knobs (which will neccesitate gradually moving closer to the center of the circle) looks like it will activate something.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 229):

Gareth will ask Berry if she arrived in time to see anything, as he tries to work out what the knobs do. He steps closer to the control panel, and tries to sense what moving to the centre will do, though he suspect it will do nothing to non-golems.

Is there something he can roll to check?

Re: The Black Tower

I think these sigils can be turned to duplicate the lock. Unless you have a better idea, I think we should go with that. Not sure what the result would be though.

OOC: Roll about golems

Gareth relates that to Berry, while waiting for the others. Perhaps electricity heals Golems? Does he know much about that?

In reply to Narrator (msg # 238):

Yes, this particular Golem is fairly placid. But the stone statues were not, and he is concerned that if we find some more hostile flesh golems, they will be forever killing them due to this contraption.

Perhaps still a bit paranoid, but it is not paranoia if they really are out to get you!
