Haveron also finds himself surprised by the behavior, although he has become accustomed to the behaviors by this time.  He doesn't lose his composure.  Instead, he looks at Gareth and asks simply "Why would you do that?  The danger has passed."

Re: The Black Tower

Berry will follow the golem as well. She's a bit lazy with her following, so Gareth (or whoever) can easily get in front of her or fall in behind her as desired. She does her best to copy the placement of her feet from how the golem walks.

Re: The Black Tower

In reply to Gareth (msg # 180):

You note a space on the floor that it stepped around.

It approaches  a doorwaywith some kind of lock on it, and quickly spins the dials. A door rolls open, and the golem steps into what appears to be a yard wide room, big enough for one, or two if intimate. As the door slides again, you realize that the room itself is the door, and is rotating closed, and the dial spins back into place.

Per-6 to have read the dial

In reply to Narrator (msg # 181):

Gareth makes a note of the spot the golem stepped around, pointing it out to the others, but in doing so does not even see the golem work the dials.

Fine time for a critical fail...not even night vision 6 can help with that![Private to GM: Rolled 17, 3 over perception...Night vision 6 will not help I suspect...]

Did anyone get the combo? I think I got it, but... If no one else volunteers Berry will report what she saw.

22:53, Today: Berry rolled 7 using 3d6.  per-6 folr dial. That's success by zero.

Make a thaumatology roll. The three dial combo looks like it might be assembling a glyph when all three of the coincentric cirlmcles of the dial are arranged properly.

Berry will explain her conclusions to the rest of the group. "Not entirely sure what to do with it, beyond just copying the servants glyph sequence though? I assume people want me to try first?"
