"So, we brought 'em 'ere, they put bags o'er their 'eads, and put them in an enchanted room, where it's cold.. If we bring the bouncer some rabbits, some honeycomb,or offer some mead...and leave our iron and steel at home, when we return, I've a feeling it'll be a good turn."

I take it that +2 make my chance less right?

OOC:

it was +2 to your skll, so definitely  have insight.

The purists were cast into the domain of the Frost Elves, who while Unseelie, are not cannibalistic, unlike, for example, Hags or owlbears. They may afflict the prisoners, but are unlikely  to rape or eat them.

In reply to Anita Drake (msg # 373):

occ Rosewood is fairly new to GURPS.

very few circumstances,  for example, Bless and Curse spells, directly affect the roll.
I  will try to remember, but the default is "+x to skill"

Re: Deathtrap

Yes I am new to gurps.  This is third character I have made (by far the most successful) and the other two got lost like a lot in games.   Starts and goes straight to the going nowhere universe that is this site sometimes.

Thanks for being understanding GM.

Frost elves, like the one at the back of the bar sitting with the grimalkin, tend to be possessed of an unnatural beauty, and always have something unreal about them, like opalescent skin, metallic eyes, antlers, glowing auras, or peculiar shadows... peculiar shadows!!

Rosewood find a high up place and sits and thinks for a while trying to peace everything together.
His perch is such that he can see the roof of the town and places he been over the last few days.
A lot had happened to him and he seen much.  Somehow things really did not add up and he needed to make them do so.

OOC:
17:49, Today: Rosewood rolled 11 using 3d6.  Hidden Lore: Faerie TN 14.

Re: Deathtrap

In reply to Rosewood (msg # 385):

Frost elves are creatures of the Wi ter Court. Most members of the court are tied to the season, but many also are quite callous to mortals. This one seems perturbed by Mortal-Faerie relations, which are almost always the byproducts of the Summer Court and their near obsession with mortal beings.

This one may represent a faction known as The Dark Elves, who aren't themselves hued any different than any others of their kind, be they Frost, Shadow, wood, seagoing, or even high elves, the actively dislike mortals more than the typical Winter court fey, usually because of the invention of iron weapons, but sometimes for more arcane reasons.
