Re: Deathtrap

Rosewood flys over to Anita Drake and give what ever money he has on him.  He sort of started with nothing.

OOC:
Rosewood can carry up to 225 gp the GM told me.  He has what ever money Leroy du Lac gave him.
Rosewood has no idea what he has or what it worth.  So you going have decide how much you gave him so you can find out how much you get back.

Re: Deathtrap

In reply to Rosewood (msg # 490):

Rosewood would have been given a full share, over $600, so he probably has that in silvers or gold pieces. Anita would take only $75 to buy the book, and share the book around. Rosewood may not be able to carry it, but could read it and possibly benefit from it. If he can benefit from it, Anita would promise to allow her to read it first, and promise to pay back $50 when Benito sells the items.

In reply to Anita Drake (msg # 491):

Rosewood would be able to increase his Savoire faire by a point as well through ise of the text, a book of etiquette on treating with fey creatures, and he can help others avoid mistakes in the text.

It's a book!  So Rosewood would go for this what ever the cost or what ever he gains.

Nice Book, Rosewood needs to read you.  Nice Book.  Not like dirty, nasty, mean, leprechaun!

OOC:
Player smiles at Anita Drake.
Rosewood is happy to give the money to help the group.

Yep. Anita is happy with that, starting with Rosewood, then others as they contribute cash...$20 should be fine if there are a few who want to learn.

those who do can increase their Savoir faire: faerie skill by 1 point. if you already have 2 points, you can gain nothing new from the book.

So there will be a few of us studying it, perhaps concurrently. Add the point after the next adventure, which I presume will be about a day?

Re: Deathtrap

In reply to Anita Drake (msg # 501):

spend a point and add it to yourlist of skills; the book subs for a teacher, not a source of points.

first thing learned: it is rude to ask any more than the state of ones health as part of wishing another well, and if seeking lore, assume that a debt is being created.
presenting a gift, freely given will often incur a favor... thisisnotabribe, but the creation of an obligation... and coin rarely is of use.

In reply to Anita Drake (msg # 503):

you are currently in your rooms, and rolling in coin, having sold all of the purist gear,  been to Hyacinths Hoofbeats,  where you made an unfortunate scene (expect a negative reaction from many who were there), and plotting further actions against the (apparently frost elf) leader of the purists.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 504):

Ah yes, though Anita lent most of her coin to her cousin. Do we
a) Head over to the purists building to get their attention again?
b) head over o the purists building to spy on them?
c) head over to Hyacinths Hoofbeats to spy on Frost Elves there?
d) Some other option?

Anita is not a good choice as a leader, but looking for some leadership here...

Think we are done. As asked before, do we

d) Some other option?

If no-one else takes leadership, Anita will pick option B), which will likely turn into option A)...
